My name is Helena Coelho, I'm an illustrator, background artist, and character designer.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I'm passionate about telling stories through cool projects and trying new things in every opportunity I get. My current focus lies in illustration and 2D art for animation.

I'm currently an illustrator at Copa Studio, doing backgrounds and props for TV animation. I've worked as a freelance background artist for Alopra Studio, as a character concept artist for Combo Studio, as an animator, for Barely Alive Studio and as a animation colorist for Anaya Productions. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Design (Visual Communication) and Animation at PUC-Rio and I'll be starting RE:Anima (Erasmus Mundus Animation Masters) in september 2024.
